“The Trial of Susan B. Anthony”


Pamela Grimme has been a member of Burlington County Footlighters
since 1961 and Playhouse Director for 22 years. This Award Winner actress will begin
our program with her wonderful rendition of Susan B. Anthony’s
immortal words. The Judge will be portrayed by Robert Immordino

The “Most Beautiful Woman of the Suffragist Movement
will be presented by Professor Ann Marie Nicolosi, of the
Women Studies Department of the College of New Jersey
The ‘winged’ idol, on a white horse, led the first parade demonstration which brought
the country’s attention to Alice Paul’s fight for the vote, in the early 20th Century.
The speaker, with slides and pictures of the times, will vividly illustrate the inside
story of this highly sought-after heroine, this “Sexy Star” of the times.
