Lisa Mikyung Lee and Jun Hee Choi were married on Ellis Island Tuesday evening by the Rev. Randolph L. C. Weber, a Presbyterian minister.  Mr. Weber also performed a religious ceremony at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York on Saturday.  A traditional Korean wedding ceremony followed at the University Club in New York.

 

 

The bride, 36, will continue to use her name professionally.  She is a director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where she markets and distributes funds to institutional investors.  She graduated from Stanford and received an M.B.A. from Harvard.

She is a daughter of Myoung Hye Lee and Jong Pil Lee of Syosset, N.Y.  Her father is a distinguished service professor of mathematics at the State University of New York College at Old Westbury.  Her mother retired as a dietitian at New Island Hospital in Bethpage, N.Y.

The bridegroom, 38, is the mayor of Edison Township, N.J.  He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received a master’s in public policy and administration from Columbia.

He is the son of Joung Ja Choi and Sang Young Choi of Edison.  His parents retired as the owners of Village Cleaners in Edison and Millburn French Cleaners in Millburn, N.J.
