The New Jersey Foundation for Open Government will host two events in honor of Sunshine Week -- in Trenton, on Tuesday, March 18 and Newark on Wednesday, March 19.
Organized around the annual observance of James Madison's birthday, Sunshine Week is a non-partisan open government initiative led by the American Society of Newspaper Editors, with on line and broadcast media, public officials, celebrities, civic groups, non-profits, libraries, schools, religious leaders and others.
