AN ACLU SPECIAL EVENT

Dear Friends,

Today's New York Times cover story, "Court Asked to Limit Lawyers at Guantanamo," details the latest attempt in the government's unlawful detention policies. Fortunately, the fight to restore due process and habeas corpus is also at the forefront of the ACLU's work and a priority for the ACLU of New Jersey's own Baher Azmy, who will discuss his defense of former Guantanamo detainee, Murat Kurnaz at the ACLU-NJ's May 6th Reception for Liberty in Princeton.

We hope you'll join us
