| In an effort to update you on some
recent news from the NJ Commission on Civil Rights, we are happy to announce
that earlier today, the New Jersey Commission on Civil Rights welcomed two new
Commissioners who were appointed by former Governor Richard Codey, since the
terms of Commissioners Olga Vazquez-Clough and Sherine El-Abd expired last year.
We welcome our two new Commissioners, Clara Fernandez and Salena Carroll. |

Additionally, Commissioner Joan
Rivitz has been named as Co-Chair of the 58th Annual Conference of the
International Association of Official Human Rights Agencies (IAOHRA) Local
Planning Committee, with which the Division and Commission are collaborating for
the conference in Atlantic City, September 12-15, 2006. Additionally,
Commissioner Kun Lee is serving as Co-Chair of the Development Subcommittee of
the IAOHRA Committee.
