Honors 2005 by NJLGC & PLF Awards

The 2005 Awards dinner is this Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Radisson Hotel in Piscataway, NJ.  Bear Atwood of the NJ Civil Rights Division will receive the D. Bennett Mazur Award.  This is fitting and proper as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the NJ Law Against Discrimination (LAD) and can finally realize the implementation of the amendment to include Sexual Orientation, which was signed in 1993.

Rich and I are not going to be able to attend but we encourage all of you who can be there to do so to support the efforts now being made by the Director and Staff of the Division.  It is now up to us as a community to support the work of the Division so that we can finally realize the full implementation of LAD.
