Judge Delays Ruling on Youth's Anti-Gay T-Shirt

San Diego -- After 90 minutes of arguments by opposing attorneys, a federal judge Thursday delayed ruling on a request by a high school student who wants to wear a T-shirt to school that asserts God disapproves of homosexuality.

Tyler Chase Harper, 16, a junior at Poway High School, was told by school officials that the shirt constituted hate speech toward gay students.  Harper's attorney is asking U.S. District Judge John Houston to order school officials to allow the student to wear the shirt.
