U.S. Military Recruiting Children

(public school students):

What Rights Do You Have to OPT OUT?

Neither federal nor state government actively inform parents/guardians that their children's names, addresses and telephone numbers are given to the military and of their right to refuse such distribution.  The current law supplants the right of parents/guardians to initially make such decisions for their children regarding private and personal information from student records.
