We drove down to Washington Saturday the 24th and spent two
nights at the Holiday Inn, Thomas Circle, since we did not make
reservations early enough to find accommodations at Dupont Circle.
Skip DeeAnna Drumm and Alan M.
Gross were also at the Holiday Inn and Bear Atwood and her mother, Deborah
(Deb) Atwood were in a hotel a few blocks away so they joined us for
drinks. Bear had a dinner date, so Skip, Alan, Rich and I went out to the
kick-off rally at the DC Armory for a few hours.
Following the very successful day,
well documented by the articles on this site and the NOW-NJ
website, Skip, Alan, Rich, and I went over to Dupont Circle, did a
little light shopping, and enjoyed dinner outside at La Tomate.
