Barbara
K. Huberman, Director of Education and Outreach, Advocates for Youth was
the keynote presenter. She has conducted
annual study tours to Western Europe, for educators, health providers,
policy makers, media agents, and youth advocates.
She is based in Washington, DC.
Seventeen workshops were presented and well attended. I
attended “Popularity, Policy and Practice of Sex Education in the US” and
“Using ‘Partner’ is not enough: Teaching about Sexual Orientation” --
