Philip Johnson has been described by some
as the greatest living architect in the world. It is indeed only
fitting that Mr. Johnson, at age 91, design the first cathedral of
the new millennium, to be inhabited by the largest gay and lesbian
church in the world. In Mr. Johnson’s own words, the new Cathedral
of Hope will be "the most exciting sanctuary in Christendom... the
thing by which I will be memorialized". |
