Do you...Richard John Harrison wish to be joined in civil union with John Crowell Campbell?....Answer...........

You have both spoken of your intentions to affirm your relationship.

AFFIRMATION MEANS THAT EACH OF YOU WILL CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER, RESPECT ONE ANOTHER, FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER WHEN DIFFERENCES ARISE AND FIND A WAY THROUGH CONFLICT EVEN AS WE ASSUME YOU HAVE DONE SO UNTIL NOW.  AFFIRMATION MEANS THAT YOU PRESENT YOURSELF AS TWO HUMAN BEINGS FOR WHOM COMMITMENT HOLDS AN ESPECIAL QUALITY FOR YOURSELF AND THE PRIVACY OF YOUR FEELING FOR ONE ANOTHER BUT ALSO IN THE WORLD WHERE YOU PRESENT YOURSELVES.

DO EITHER OF YOU WISH TO SAY ANYTHING TO THE OTHER OR TO US WHO WITNESS THIS CEREMONY?

Then,....  By the power vested in me by the State of Vermont, I hereby join you in civil union...........

        Congratulations..............

Justice of the Peace, Barbara P. Kinoy
