LEGISLATORS:
An understanding that sexual orientation is an
important part of who a person is and that there is no justification
for discrimination against anyone on the basis of who they are.
The NJ Law Against Discrimination was amended in
January 1992 to include sexual orientation. The law should be fully
implemented in the school systems so that our schools are safe for
children and teachers.
Know that we love our gay families too, and that
we will accept nothing less than the full benefits of civil marriage
for them.
