Campbell for: · Action in support of or to defeat legislation, · To endorse candidates who support civil/human rights for all citizens, · To build bridges to established organizations working for civil/human rights issues, · Maintain a Religious Concerns Committee to counter the efforts of the Radical Religious Right, · Support a Same-Sex Civil Marriage Task Force since 1997, and GayPASG PAC in 2001. ó óóóóóóóóOur Families Deserve The Full Benefits of Civil Marriage The Task Force for Same-Sex Civil Marriage was organized January 1997 following the introduction of legislation in New Jersey to prohibit Same-Sex Marriage and to establish by law that such marriages performed elsewhere would not be recognized in New Jersey. That legislation has not been brought to the floor but remains active. The work of this Task Force will continue until the option of marriage is available to all couples that desire to make the commitment and receive the full benefits of civil marriage.
